Tuesday, July 25th – Trip to Graham Land and
Cattle

Shuttle(s) will depart from the Luling
Foundation Farm Demonstration Barn area at 8:15AM. If you plan to drive
yourself, please meet us there at 9AM: 3772 US-183,
Gonzales, TX 78629

Must RSVP to the Caldwell County Extension
Office: 512-398-3122 to ride in the van to Gonzales on or before July 17th

Expect the program to last at Graham’s until
lunchtime. We will probably go to a local restaurant and eat after…those
that ride in the van, plan for that detour.

Participants that choose to ride the shuttle
to College Station will need to stay the night of 8/13 and 8/14, with a
departure of 8/15. You DO NOT have to stay at this hotel or ride the
shuttle, it’s just a convenience we’re trying to offer participants. If
you wish to stay in this hotel block, you must reserve your room with Ramada by
July 17th.

The shuttles will leave the Caldwell County
AgriLife Extension Office (1403 Blackjack, Lockhart, TX) – exact time TBD and
make a stop in Bastrop County to pick up additional passengers.

If you wish to ride the shuttle to College
Station you MUST RSVP to the Caldwell County Extension office by July 17th.

Winter Row Crop Meeting
Date: Monday, February 6
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon
Place: Wilson Co Courthouse Annex III, 1103 4th Street, Floresville
Cost: $15 per person
Three (1 IPM, 2 Gen) CEU’s will be given. Topics include: Weed Management for Row
Crops; IPM for Winter Forages and Row Crops; Cover Crops in South Texas; and NRCS
& FSA Program Update. Please RSVP to the Wilson Co Extension Office at 830-393-7357,
as space is limited
