Please advise producers today will be a high fire danger day
(12/29/2016). The combination of high winds, plunging low relative
humidity and very dry vegetation may cause dangerous fire spread. Spark
and flame generating activities should be carefully monitored or delayed to
another day. We have seen field work were flint rock strikes cause fires,
overheated bearings, hot work, dragging trailer chains and vehicles running in
high grass cause many fires this year. The Caldwell County Burn Ban is in
Effect – please report any fires to 911.
